I gotcha covered....

So I've been a little lax in my posts lately.  But I'm sure you'd rather have me hard at work on issue 5 than posting the usual nonsense I slap up here.

In the mean time, here's a the covers for issues five and six that I've been sitting on. Next is the cover I did for the Uncle Scrooge/Ducktales # 396-it has Launchpad so that was a gimme. If you're a regular reader of my blog (it beats reading books) you know what reverence I have for the works of Carl Barks so getting the chance to do this was a big thrill for me. Like a double helping of cake after dinner.

And if you missed the second issue of DW the first time, Boom has JUST ANNOUNCED reprint of issue two. And let me tell you how hard it was to draw that first issue spread in reverse.

  1. heh; gotta love Negaduck with his chainsaws. That dude is such a whackjob; but in a funny way.

And is that another alternate Darkwing in the background of the #6 cover? I'm really looking forward to the Crisis on Infinite Darkwings arc... given the multiple origin stories of Darkwing himself, and the sheer awesomeness of Darkwarrior Duck it should be an exciting story.

By any chance, will we be seeing the first "incarnation" of Negaduck? The one that was an energy-based split from Darkwing himself?

  2. An alternate Darkwing in the Quiverwing Quack outfit? I am a fan, and I am being served.

These are wonderful, as usual. Thank you for running this blog to supplement my monthly geek-out.

  3. Once again, awesome covers. I was just beginning to wonder when we'll be seeing covers for Issue 6.
