Life can't all be ducks.
We'll I suppose if I want to eat it could. But I can draw other things on my own time.
Outside of Star Wars, Batman and all things Disney, my obsession is Godzilla. A Thanksgiving was not Thanksgiving if my mom didn't have to drag me kicking and screaming away from the all-day Godzilla marathon to have dinner with the family. So when I saw that there was going to be new Godzilla comics produced in the U.S. written by Eric Powell (creator of my favorite comic, The Goon, which all of you should pick up after DW), I thought I'd see if I could draw guys in big rubbery suits. Not that I'd ever leave Darkwing, but it could be fun to help out with some daikaiju.
Maybe I'll just stick to the ducks.

So cool to see your other stuff!
ReplyDeletethat's some good stuff there, as great as Powell is as a writer and artist I still want to say that Arthur Adams was the best Godzilla artists from the west. I'm wondering how good your Jet Jaguar is though...
ReplyDeleteArt Adams is hand down the best G-artist out there. I am still looking forward to the book. The previews look pretty good. Sounds like I might have to take up that Jet Jaguar challenge. RIght after I finish that Talespin/DW picture.
ReplyDeleteAnd I like looking at all your stuff Sabrina. Now get back to work, you have an annual to put out!
When I was a kid I had an obsession with Godzilla too I had almost all of the movies and right now I have two of the newer movies. I had a few of the Godzilla comics but not now.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, your line work is a thing of beauty to behold. I'd happily read one of your books in black and white.
